South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM) is an independent, academic institution established in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2005 to provide need-based management education and engage in management development, research and consulting to facilitate the growth and development of managers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in South Asia which is emerging as the most dynamic Asian regional economic center for global trade, investment and technology innovation.

SAIM has established two centers namely Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprise Center (ESMEC) and Center for Econometrics and Applied Statistics (CEAS). The objective of ESMEC is to provide business development services and empower the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) sector, thereby creating a long term sustainable economy in Nepal. Centre for Economics and Applied Statistics (CEAS) was established to meet the growing needs of highly skilled expertise in the area of quantitative economics and applied statistics. CEAS intends to achieve these objectives through regular academic and training programs, research, conferences and consulting services.
