Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences will be basically service oriented non-profit making institution which will have a medical college, nursing college, medical polytechnic school and a dental college. NAIHS will produce quality medical manpower not only for army but for the nation as a whole at an affordable cost. Medical training is extremely expensive making it unaffordable to most Nepalese. NAIHS will provide affordable opportunities of medical and health science education to deserving candidates among serving army personnel, sibling and spouse of serving and ex- army personnel.

NAIHS- College of Medicine shall offer MBBS program comprises of 4.5 years of study of various course and a year of internship. Post graduate program will start from 2nd phase. NAIHS- College of Nursing will run PCL nursing form 1st year and expand courses every two years. Hospital which is already a modern hospital will be upgraded and expanded to provide medical service to civilians as well.
