Following the success of the training “Professional Social Work and Community Leadership (PSWCL)” powered by the international project “Cameras of the World”, Campaign for Change-Nepal(CCN) in collaboration with Thames International College is glad to announce the first edition of the Social Photography Contest. The Contest is addressed to students of Social Work Studies of all levels with the aims to raise their awareness about the biggest issues of Nepalese Community through photography and to develop their careers.
Criteria for the Participation:
• Participants should be the student of BSW or MSW
• One student can send only one photo clicked by themselves with short description (25 words) by email to register the name. Photo can click by any type of cameras or mobile. Email address: info@ccn.org.np
• After registering the name, have to submit printed photograph in A-4 size (8.27″/11.69″)
• Photos could be Black&White or Color.
• Photos should be related to social problems mainly: Environment, Gender, Drug Addiction, Culture, Social Work
Winner Selection Criteria:
Winners will be selected by both the national and international experts. Marks will be divided in the message of the social issue (70%) and quality and technique of photos taken (30%)
Prizes
1st prize: A big Gift Hamper and certificate, 2nd prize: A medium Gift Hamper and certificate. 3rd prize: A Gift Hamper and certificate.
DEADLINES
Photo Submission: 5 Oct. 2012
Photo exhibition and Prize distribution: 12 Oct. 2012
NOTE: CERTIFICATES WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS
