Why to vote 10x a day with your e-mail address/facebook to choose CNN Hero?

Do you want to collect many votes for your favorite Top Ten Finalist of CNN hero? If yes, here is the tips.......

 you can do it easily. Just guess any email address, use that email and give 10 votes/day. Again put another email address and give 10 votes………………….again use………..10 votes ………….again use………….10 votes ……………per day.

Most funny information I have seen in the website of CNN is:

“You can vote 10x a day with your e-mail address – and also through Facebook!”

Every time you vote using particular id: CNN website counts the vote from that id and tell you how many votes are remaining for that day.  

This means if you have one facebook id, you can vote ten times a day using this id. Than again you can vote for your favorite Hero using the email address you have: even that email address you use for facebook will work.  So now you can have 20 votes to vote for a particular hero per day. And if you are using hotmail and yahoomail, than you have additional 10 votes per email. So now you have 40 votes to give a day.

The worst part of voting using email address is that you don’t have to authenticate while voting. This means any one can vote in your name or you can vote by any ones name. Just guess one email address and start giving vote. eg. sabina@hotmail.com sabina@gmail.com sabina@yahoo.com or anyname@hotmail.com

By using this technique any one can give thousands of votes for a particular person. I don’t know why they have made such type of voting system which have lots of errors (seems like this) or it’s their design to make everyone enagage on voting till the contest over (don’t we have any other works to do beside voting, ten times each day?), or

 it’s a design of making another Guinness world record of voting contest!!

What a ridiculous voting is this? What they trying to assess via voting? The popularity of a particular person or something else.

I have never seen this type of voting in my life: I think voting for CNN heroes is the worst voting contest ever. There are lots of questions that arise in your mind while voting for CNN heroes, Top most concernts may be

And the rationale of not autheticating the email address?

One of the good things is that in the history of CNN hero, we have already got Anuradha Koirala as a CNN hero, now it’s a time to vote for Pushpa Basnet and make her won. Join her mission to "Make sure no child grows up behind prison walls"

Note: Before writing this blog I have used more than three guessed email address  (i.e. that do not belong to me) and I don’t know it belongs to any person who is living currently. My major concern is to draw the attention of CNN so that this type of errors on voting contest will be rectified and they will make voting contest scientific and transparent as possible it can be.
