Urgent Notice regarding Postponement of Entrance examination of Bachelor levels

This is to notify that according to the previous notice of Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine (IOM), the entrance examination of bachelor level was going to be held on 2069 Ashoj 13 and Ashoj 14, but due to the  interim order of supreme court not to conduct the examination on the above mentioned date, the entrance exam has been cancelled till the further notice is issued. More information regarding the cancellation of the exam will be published on the Gorkhapatra, Kantipur and Nagarik daily of dated 2069 Ashoj 12.

In response to a writ for inclusiveness, which Niraj Kumar Shah and his friends had filed, the apex court has summoned Institute of Medicine officials on October 1 for clarification. Narayan Khanal, legal adviser to the Tribhuvan University, said they had to defer the exams in response to the court order. He said they can reschedule the exams only after October 1.

The supreme court is likely to give final verdict regarding cancellation of exams on Ashoj 15, so the fate of entrance examination and next date will be available only after that date.
