Prakash Sayami new Dean of Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine. According to the latest information available to edusanjal, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has finalised the name of Dr Prakash Sayami as the new dean and that a selection committee at the hospital has approved it. 

Following the appointment, Prof. Dr. Govinda KC,  is going to end the hunger strike.  Dr KC was on a fast-unto-death, demanding the key posts in the TUTH be filled on the basis of merit or seniority and not political appointment. similarly the services at TUTH will be resumed from tomorrow.

Education Minister Dinanath Sharma is now going to visit Tribhuan University Teaching Hospital, to break the fast unto death of Dr. Govinda K.C. Dr. K.C is positive about the appointment of Dr. Prakash Sayami as a Dean. Prakash Sayamai was one of the senior doctor of TUTH and has a clean image till date.

Dr Sayami is the senior-most professor at the TUTH and a revered figure among TUTH staffers. Prakash Sayami has done specialization in Chest ,Breast & Thoracic Surgeon.
