Admissions open for 4 yrs B.Tech Food Technology

 

This is to notify all the interested students that under the Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology, announces new admissions in B.Tech Food Technology in central campus and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2068/69

 

Eligibility: The candidates who have passed in second division I.Sc. Or 10+2 (science) and certificate level of food technology /laboratory technology from Tribhuvan University or an institute recognized by this university shall be considered eligible to apply for admission to B.Tech. (Food). Students are selected based on their merit in the entrance examination.

For those students who passed 10+2 or equivalent from foreign board that must have passed taking English and Mathematics securing at least second division.

1. Form can be filled from 2069, Sharwan 26 to Bhadra 25
2. Form submission with late fee: Up to Ashoj 1 (Only in Central Campus of Technology, Dharan)
3. Form is avialable in :

• Central Campus of Technology, Dharan
• Institute of Science and Technology, Office of the Dean, Kirtipur

Entrance Exam, Date and Time: Entrance exam will be held on 2069 Ashoj 6,Saturday, 1 pm to 3 pm in

• Central Campus of Technology, Dharan
• Institute of Science and Technology, Office of the Dean, Kirtipur

 

Application Procedure

The aspirant must bring with him/her all the documents testimonials needed for the application. But be sure that you meet the eligibility criteria. Application form can be collected from the campus or specified places.

Collect the application from the campus office (Exams section) or Dean’s office, Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu against a payment of NRs 1000 (300 for application form and 700 for entrance exam) for regular seats (16 seats).
- For ‘donation’ seat and ‘SAARC donation’ quota (4 seats for each donation category), you must pay NRs 1200.
- Note that after paying NRs 1200 you are entitled to compete for all types of seats (regular, donation and SAARC donation)

Filling Up the Application Form Required Documents/ testimonials

1. Character certificates (high school and Plus-2 or I. Sc.)
2. Xerox copy of mark-sheets (SLC board and Plus-2 or I. Sc.)
3. Two passport-size photo
4. Xerox copy of citizenship card
5. Migration certificates (if you are from Plus-2 system or from institutes other than Tribhuvan University)
