Kathmandu University announces admissions for School of Science and Engineering Programs

  1. B. E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)

  2. B.E (Mechanical Engineering)
  3. BE (Civil Engineering with specialisation in Hydropower)
  4. BE (Environmental Engineering)

Eligibility: ISc (or 10+2 or equivalent) with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in PCM

Programs

  1. BE (Computer Engineering)
  2. BE (Geomatics Engineering)
  3. BE (Computer Science)
  4. B.Sc Applied Physics

Eligibility: ISc (or 10+2 or equivalent) with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in PCM or Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science (PMCs)

Programs

  1. B. Pharm.
  2. B. Tech. (Biotechnology)
  3. B. Sc. (Environmental Science)

Minimum Requirement

ISc (or 10+2 or equivalent) with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in PCM or PCB

Program

B. Sc. (Human Biology)

Eligibility: ISc (or 10+2 or equivalent) with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in PCB.

  1. Applicants are to be filled online only.
  2. Online forms will be available from July 10, 2012 at the Kathmandu University website.
  3. All applicants are urged to apply from remote computers.

All applicants are required to collect their admit cards from the admissions Centre Dhulikhel between July 22 to August 1, 2012 (10 am to 3 pm) at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, after payment of the non-refundable application fee of Rs 1000.

The test date for the submission of completed appliction form is July 27, 2012

Admission Test: Applicants must appear for the admission test conducted by University on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Kathmandu University Campus in Dhulikhel.

Interview: Selected candidates will be called for document verification at the respective Departments.
Students who have passed class 11 and waiting for the Class 12 results may also apply on a provisional basis.

Limited number of scholarships are available for meritorious and financial needy students. The application for financial support (scholarship) form is to be submitted only at the time of admission.
