Bachelor Level Admission Open at Bagmati University 2083

Bagmati University has extended the application deadline for undergraduate admissions until Shrawan 8, 2083 (July 24, 2026). The University has extended the deadline to provide additional time for prospective students who were unable to apply due to delays in receiving their Grade 12 transcripts.

Eligibility

Students who have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification and satisfy the eligibility requirements of their chosen undergraduate program may apply for admission. Applicants who recently received or are receiving their Grade 12 transcripts can submit their applications before the extended deadline.

Supporting Details

The admission deadline was originally scheduled to close at the end of Ashar 2083. However, the University decided to extend the application period after receiving concerns from students regarding delays in the issuance of Grade 12 transcripts. According to Prof. Dr. Chandramani Poudel, Chairperson of the University's Board of Trustees, the extension aims to ensure that eligible students are not deprived of the opportunity to apply because of administrative delays in obtaining their academic documents.

Bagmati University offers semester-based undergraduate programs through its faculties of Management and Law, Science and Technology, and Education and Social Sciences. These programs were introduced in the previous academic year as part of the University's efforts to expand higher education opportunities within Bagmati Province.

Established on Jestha 25, 2081 BS, Bagmati University currently operates through six constituent campuses: Madi Campus (Chitwan), Hetauda Campus (Makwanpur), Janamaitri Campus (Kathmandu), Bhuwanishankar Campus (Chitwan), Chaitanya Campus (Kavrepalanchok), and Kapan Campus (Kathmandu). At present, approximately 550 students are enrolled across these constituent campuses.
