Admissions open for Certificate in Nursing Program at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences

Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS)has been established in 2011 by an Act of parliament of Nepal in Jumla to provide health services in easy way in backward (pichhadiyako) areas to produce skilled health professionals & conduct research.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must be a Female Nepali citizen.
  
• Age of the candidate should be 16 years completed and should not cross 25 years at the time of last date of form submission. In case of ANM, applicant should not cross 30 years at the time of last date of form submission.
  
• Female candidates who have passed SLC examination or equivalent with English, Science & Mathematics as principle subjects scored at least 45% aggregate are eligible to apply for certificate in nursing program.
  
• Female candidates, who has completed ANM after SLC and scored minimum 45% in aggregate with full registration in the Nepal Nursing Council.
  

Seats Available: The total number of seats allocated for this academic year is 30.

• Collaborative scholarship :-20%
  
• Full Tuition Fee :- 40%
  

Important dates

• Application form is available at KAHS, Jumla, Nepalgunj Medical College, Teaching Hospital, BP Chowk Nepalgunj, and Contact office of KAHS at Lalitpur, Mahalaxmisthan.
• Students can get application form after showing Bank voucher (deposit slip) of RS 5000 deposited in the A/C of KAHS in Agriculture DEV Bank (see A/C in the image).
• Entrance Exam Fee: Rs. 1000 Application form is available from Sharwan 8 to 27 (10 am to 4 pm).
• Form submission dates: From Sharwan 8, 2074 to Sharwan 27 from 10 am to 5 pm. With delay fee (Rs. 500 extra) up to Bhadra 2, 2074
