Nepal College of Management (NCM), an affiliate of Kathmandu University, located at Dhobighat, Lalitpur, announces inquiry open for the academic year 2025 in the following programs:
The BBA Programme offered by Kathmandu University has been carefully designed by distinguished academicians and scholars to provide students with a strong foundation in business and management education. The four-year program consists of eight semesters and requires the completion of 120 credit hours, including foundation, core managerial, specialized, elective, and internship courses.
At NCM, students receive quality education that combines academic excellence with practical learning experiences, preparing them for successful careers in various industries. The program follows the curriculum and guidelines of Kathmandu University, a renowned institution known for its commitment to educational excellence.
The Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM) program was introduced by NCM in 2010 as a practical and industry-oriented academic program designed to provide students with strong professional knowledge and competencies in hospitality and management disciplines. The program is affiliated with Kathmandu University.
The main objective of the BHM program is to develop competent and committed graduates who can successfully build careers in hospitality and tourism management while contributing professionally to the growth of the hospitality and tourism industry in Nepal and beyond.
BHM is an intensive four-year program consisting of eight semesters, including two semesters of internship and report writing. To graduate, students are required to complete a total of 132 credit hours, which include foundation courses, core hospitality courses, general management courses, specialization and elective courses, as well as internship and report writing.
BBA and BHM are open to Nepalese and non-Nepalese nationals:
10+2 or Equivalent: Minimum 40% aggregate or CGPA 1.6, with at least a 'D+' grade in each subject.
GCE A-Level: Passed a minimum of three subjects in A Level and one general paper in AS Level.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Passed a minimum six courses (three in Higher Level) with 24 points in aggregate.
CTEVT: Three-year diploma with 40% aggregate.
CBSE: Minimum 40% aggregate
Foreign studies: Ten percent of seats are reserved.
Those who have passed Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT) conducted by KUSOM in the current year. KUUMAT is designed as an eligibility test for admission into KU’s undergraduate management programs like the BBA and BHM and is a compulsory requirement for applying to get admission.
Note: Applicants who have completed the qualifying educational level but are awaiting the final results may apply on a provisional basis, provided they have already taken the final annual examinations of the program and passed all previous year papers as well as the KUUMAT.

As a part of its moral responsibility, the Gurukul Education Foundation initiated the Gurukul Student of the Year Award. The Foundation awards the outstanding student for his or her success in maintaining academic excellence and displaying exemplary leadership during the entire four years in the College with the Gurukul Student of the Year Award. Further, to motivate students to accomplish outstanding results, NCM has implemented a merit-based scholarship scheme under which deserving and needy students are offered full or partial waivers in the monthly tuition fee for the entire subsequent semester in accordance with the following criteria:

To enhance quality education by supporting students economically, the College also offers in each batch a four-year KU scholarship for two needy, deserving students selected competitively by the scholarship selection committee. The grant of the scholarship will be for full or equivalent partial waivers in tuition fees. During the period since its establishment in 1999, the College has offered scholarships amounting to Rs. 12 million.
