Kathmandu University, School of Arts announces opening of admissions for a Four-Year Program in BACHELOR IN ECONOMICS for the Fall Session of 2017.
The program provides students with:
1. Basic understanding of the functioning of the modern economy,
2. Capacity to analyze the cause and consequences of economic changes,
3. Understanding of policy changes and linkages of Nepal’s economy with the rest of the world,
4. Skills related to economic forecasting, and
5. Employability skills such as leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication and problem solving.
The entire course is highly participatory and practice-oriented, and students are expected to take leadership in field related activities as well as in class discussions.
Eligibility: Applicants must have 10+2 or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with minimum aggregate score of 45 percent or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.
Applicants who have passed Class XI and are waiting for the Class XII results can also apply for a provisional admission. However, they will have to produce the proof of having passed the exam before the commencement of the course.

Important dates:
Classes for the new semester will begin from August 30, 2017.
