Admission Open for Bachelor Programs 2026 at KU School of Education

Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), one of the seven schools belonging to Kathmandu University, announces admissions for the following Bachelor's programs for the academic year 2026.

Bachelor of Arts (English Studies) and Bachelor of Education (TESOL): Dual Degree
B Ed in TCSOL with a minor in TESOL
Bachelor of Technical Education in Information Technology and BIT
Bachelor's in Mathematics Education

Eligibility

Bachelor of Arts (English Studies) and Bachelor of Education (TESOL): Dual Degree

A minimum pass grade in each grade 12 subject, with a minimum CGPA of 1.6
Or A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2 PCL, or equivalent in any discipline

B Ed in TCSOL with a minor in TESOL

A minimum pass grade in each grade 12 subject, with a minimum CGPA of 1.6
Or A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.

Bachelor of Technical Education in Information Technology

A minimum pass grade in each grade 12 subject, with a minimum CGPA of 1.6
Or A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.

Bachelor's in Mathematics Education

A minimum pass grade in each grade-12 subject, with a minimum CGPA of 1.6 and two courses in Mathematics
OR A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline, and two courses in Mathematics

Application Process

Application Fee: Rs. 2000

The fee needs to be deposited into the Kathmandu University (Account name – KU-School of Education) bank account at Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (account no. 00501030255578).

The payment could be made online through Connect IPS. Or through any other online transfer system. In case of an online transfer of the application fee, the transfer slip or a snapshot of the payment should be included with the application.

In the case of international students, they need to transfer USD 20$ to a bank account in Nepal Investment Bank Limited (account no. 00501030255578, SWIFT code NIBLNPKT)

Digital copies of all your education certificates of school level and above
The digital copy of your citizenship certificate
In the case of non-Nepali applicants, the personal identification page(s) of a valid passport
The digital copy of your recent passport-size color photograph
Collect all the information required to fill in the fields included in the
The digital copy of the bank voucher or the online payment transfer slip of NPR 2000 for the Bachelor's and Master's programs
