Inquiry Open for Bachelor Programs at National Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) - 2083

The National Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), affiliated with Purbanchal University, has opened inquiry for the following programs for the upcoming academic year: 

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Computer Engineering (BE Computer)
  • B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence (B.Tech. in AI)

Bachelor of Engineering program in Biomedical Engineering: 

NIET is the first and only college in Nepal to offer Biomedical Engineering education. Due to its unique course with a world-class syllabus, its graduates excel in their fields in Nepal and abroad. They have already completed PhD and Master's programs from various prestigious universities worldwide and have received prestigious awards and scholarships.

The term "biomedical engineering" describes the application of engineering ideas to clinical diagnosis and therapy as well as research into the physiological underpinnings of disease. It offers instruction in the design of artificial organs, implantable gadgets, cardiac aids, imaging, and other diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Additionally, it incorporates tissue engineering, a process that involves creating organs from cells.

Eligibility 

  • Must have secured a C Grade in all subjects in +2 or equivalent 

OR

  • Students from both Maths and/or Biology streams of +2 science or ISc with a minimum of GPA 'C' or 45% can apply for admissions for the Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (affiliated with Purbanchal University).

Scholarship Information

  • First 25 students in B.Tech. AI and B.E. Computer students will receive a 25% scholarship on tuition fees.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entrance Exam Requirement

  • B.Tech. in AI – No entrance exam, direct admission.
  • B.E. in Biomedical Engineering and B.E. in Computer – Entrance exam required.
